Here's a 2500PI Mk2 which despite being rhd is registered in Zurich.
The Mk1 and Mk2 PIs were notable for having fuel injection (hence the PI, petrol injection) which was quite a thing in 1968. The engine was donated to the rather better known TR6 as well.
Sadly, fuel injection designed fifty odd years ago wasn't really as good a thing as it became later and there were reliability issues connected with the fuel pump which tended to find itself running on fumes in hot weather. You can get a replacement setup so don't let that put you off.

Somewhere I read that the motor driving the fuel pump was originally designed as a wiper motor!
My family had a 2.5PI for a while, as well as a 2500TC. Great cars, and the PI was remarkably quick on the rare occasions that it was running right.
